Training & Meeting Facilitation
Having good ideas is one thing, putting them into practice day-to-day, is another.
Well-designed training which presents the important information in a direct and (hopefully) interesting way is a good way of doing that. It should also be an opportunity for people to talk through questions they have and things that they don’t understand.
Meetings too can be useful, or not. Well run, they are a good way of generating new ideas and fixing things that don’t work. Badly run, unfocused meetings can be demotivating and time wasting.

Training & Meeting Facilitation in practice

I have extensive experience of designing and running training sessions, workshops and facilitating meetings. I have worked with community groups, NHS commissioners, GP federations and staff in employee owned companies to run targeted training and facilitate debate. I like to think afresh about issues - and encourage people to think afresh for themselves. I receive very positive feedback on the sessions I run.
Topics I have designed and run sessions on include risk management, governance and handling complaints. I am always happy to work with clients to develop bespoke training programmes to meet specific needs.
